Alex Grant
Vice President
Alex Grant serves as a Vice President at Scarp Ridge Capital Partners and is responsible for underwriting and analyzing potential acquisitions including direct property acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings.
Prior to joining SRC, Mr. Grant served as an Associate Director on WeWork’s Real Estate Advisory team, where he was responsible for deal structuring and negotiation with the firm’s largest enterprise tenants, completing over $500 million in total deal volume across over 1 million rentable square feet of real estate. Mr. Grant has also held underwriting positions at multi-family developer Continental Properties, as well as Boston-based commercial real estate investment firm Genesis Management Group.
Mr. Grant previously worked on Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Derivatives & Foreign Exchange team, where he structured hedging and alpha generating foreign exchange solutions for the firm's corporate and institutional client base, generating over $3.5 trillion in annual trading volume.
Mr. Grant earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston College, where he graduated magna cum laude from the school’s Honors Program and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School, where he graduated with Honors and Distinction.
